On March 4th's "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno (I know I shouldn't have watched I betrayed Conan) Brett Favre was on the show and he was actually pretty funny at times. When Jay asked Brett if he was coming back, Favre was well wishy-washy just like he always is.
So, Jay threw him a retirement party. Then, Brett said I haven't made a decision yet so Jay gave him a Vikings playbook.
During the interview Favre said "Obviously had we gone to the Super Bowl that would have been the icing on the cake, but it was way better than even I could have dreamed of. I've told people I really believe my biggest accomplishment this year was winning over the majority of the Vikings' fans. For so many years I was hated."
He certainly was and to tell you the truth I hated all his indecision and the ESPN circus that followed him this summer, but I will admit I would like to see the ole' gunslinger lace them up for at least one more year.
