Babalicious Tournament Elite 8

The Babalicious Tournament is down to 8 women. In the Sweet 16 in the Jessica Alba Bracket #14 seed Lauren Conrad nearly moved on to the Elite 8, only to just barely lose to #2 Elisha Cuthbert. In the Megan Fox Bracket the first number one seed went out in Megan Fox falling to #5 seed Gisele Bünchen. In the other matchup in the bracket #2 Rachel McAdams, in what some considered could be a close matchup, blew away Scarlett Johansson the #11 seed, who did not get one vote. And in the Rihanna Bracket #6 Hayden Panettiere upset #2 Jessica Biel. So in all the Elite 8 has three #1 seeds, 3 #2 seeds, a #5 seed, and a #6 seed.

So here are my votes in the Elite 8 and my commentary on them.

Beyoncé Bracket

(1) Beyoncé vs. (2) Eva Mendes

I think this is the best matchup in the Elite 8. Both are heavy hitters who can win it all. This seems to me to be a matchup where your either all the way in with Beyoncé on this vote or all the way in with Mendes on this vote. I go all the way in with Beyoncé. Give me her or Eva Mendes and I'll choose Mrs. Jay-Z 10 out of 10 times. Their is a reason why I gave her the title of #1 Overall Seed. She deserves it.

My Vote: Beyoncé

Jessica Alba Bracket

(1) Jessica Alba vs. (2) Elish Cuthbert

I never even heard of Cuthbert until Buck made me watch The Girl Next Door. I'm glad he did. She's the true definition of a blonde bombshell. The NHL players lover her and so do I. Alba is great, but I think Cuthbert is a notch better. So I'll vote for my second #1 seed to be bounced out.

Megan Fox Bracket

(2) Rachel McAdams vs. (5) Gisele Bünchen

A great matchup here. I love both these women. I am going to have to vote against my boy Tom Brady here. Sorry I'm voting for the Notebook star over Mrs. Tom Brady. When I did the seedings initally I had McAdams as #1 seed over Jessica Alba. However, in the final process the selection commitee thought Alba deserved the #1 seed though. I have no problem with that thought process. But McAdams has clearly proved she is on the level of a #1 seed. I certainly think so, which is why I vote her to the Babalicious Final Four.

Rihanna Bracket

(1) Rihanna vs. (6) Hayden Panettiere

I really wasn't sure Rihanna would last this long. I'm very glad she has made it this far. And up to this point she has dominated the vote count in each round. I don't think this will be the case at all for this matchup. I have way too much respect for Hayden Panettiere. This gal should have been given at least a #3 seed, looking back on it, and certainly will get at least that high next year. She will give Rihanna quite a fight in this battle. I just hope RiRi can pull it out. She certainly has my vote.
