The 2010 Babalicious Champion

It was close at first, but in the end Hayden Panettiere put it away. Panettiere beat Elisha Cuthbert by a comfortable voting in the Babalicious Championship. So Hayden Panettiere is the first ever winner of the Babalicious Tournament. Like N.C. State in the 1983 NCAA Basketball Tournament, Hayden won the tournament as a 6th seed. Frankly I still can't believe it. But the people have spoken and Panettiere is the winner.

Here are the links to the final complete bracket.

If there was a "One Shining Moment" that went along with this tournament it would include the story of 14th seed Lauren Conrad making it all the way to the Sweet 16. It would also include the fact that Megan Fox was the first #1 seed to go in the tournament, losing in the Sweet 16 to Gisele Bünchen. The Elite 8 would be noted for having the last three #1 seeds all losing and failing to make the Final Four (Beyoncé, Jessica Alba, and Rihanna). The Final Four of Eva Mendes, Elisha Cuthbert, Rachel McAdams, and Hayden Panettiere would be in there. And it would end with Panettiere beating Cuthbert to take the crown.

So that's it. The tournament is done. If I learned anything is that for next year's tournament Panettiere will be no worse than a 2 seed (probably be a 1 seed) and not anywhere close to a 6th seed.
