Vonn v. Mancuso

A lot has been made this week about the rivalry between America's sweetheart Lindsey Vonn and the overshadowed, but equally solid Julia Mancuso.

It all started when Mancuso started taking shots at Vonn through the media and a sports illustrated interview. It has since went through the typical media whirlwind and has become Vonn v. Mancuso instead of the U.S. v. everybody else.

Mancuso was robbed in the Super G, but I am extremely disappointed that she decided to forgo the slalom while Vonn is gutting it out and going for it despite a broken (is it pinkie or pinky?) finger. This just improves Vonn's case for being America's sweetheart. She is already racing on a banged up shin and now Mancuso is stepping aside and letting Vonn receive more attention. If Mancuso is truly bothered by the fact that Vonn is hogging the spotlight, then she should have stepped up, entered the slalom and beat Vonn.

Why does any of this matter? It really doesn't. The reason it has gained such steam is because people love drama and both women are pretty sexy. So I leave you with this question. Who is the more attractive skier.

Vonn?

 or Mancuso?

It's a toss up. I'll put my money on Clair Bidez.
